Course Objetives:

The recent trends in care management have suffered a shift from inpatient setting surgery to a surgical agenda performed as an outpatient basis or office procedure. Following the principles of distraction osteogenesis, intraoral techniques and osteodistraction appliances have been developed with the objective of providing a simple surgical technique to lengthen or widen the mandible and maxilla and promote osseous regeneration. In addition to lengthening and widening the maxilla and mandible by distraction osteogenesis, the surgical agenda will also include independent and simultaneous orthognathic surgical procedures, adjunctive cosmetic techniques in the office environment and various innovations in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Also alveolar distraction for oseointegreted implants will be covered in detail. This hands-on workshop course is designed as an interactive initiation to the scientific principles and current technology in osteodistraction of the maxilla and mandible under ambulatory basis.

Enrollment is limited to 20 participants (Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgeons and Orthodontics).

Air Transportation:

There are daily direct flights from USA (Miami, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston) to Caracas, Venezuela with American Airlines, Delta Airlines.
You can plan to arrive late night on 27 July and plan to depart on 31 July morning.

Note: Reserve flights as soon as possible to ensure round-trip availability.

Official Housing:

After you confirm your assistance to our course, we will make all hotel reservations at the Hotel Paseo Las Mercedes, Caracas. Room Rate (special rate for participants US$___ (SGL/TWN) ).

We need to do the reservation 2 month or 45 days early. Reservations will be canceled by you on arrival.

If you have to cancel your registration, tuition will be refunded less a processing fee. The refund will be based upon our ability to fill the resulting vacancy. No refunds will be provided to "NO SHOWS" and registrants whose notification is received 15 days before the meeting.
